Town of Lusk Mayor

 Mayor Douglas E. Lytle graduated from Niobrara County High School and attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska. He is married to Kayte Lytle and together they have two children, Nicholas Lytle and Addison Lytle. Mayor Lytle played and coached arena football in the United State and in Canada. He and his wife moved back to Lusk to raise their family in the community, "that my wife and I grew up in". Prior to his Mayor election, Mayor Lytle served on the Town of Lusk Council for two years.

Short Term Goals as Mayor: "To help maintain the integrity of the greatest town on Earth. [To] Fix/mediate problems that are facing our community. [To] Work with the Council to help lead the community in the right direction. [To] continue to provide services to the best of our abilities". 

Long Term Goals as Mayor: "Work on the infrastructure of the community. Look at ways to retain members of the community. Build trust between community and the town. Continue to make the people of Lusk proud to continue to call Lusk home ".
